SUSTAINABILITY & CSR SPECIALIST

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability strategies, policies, and programs in collaboration with the company functions
  • Responsible for the correct application of the procedures related to the Quality System and of the provisions on the environment and safety with regard to her/his activities /area of competence
  • Responsible for the application and compliance of her/his activities with internal company safety and good manufacturing procedures, as well as the procedures of voluntary management systems for environmental safety as applicable

ACTIVITIES

  • Develops and implements sustainability programs in collaboration with the company functions.
  • Conducts sustainability assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and supports company functions in setting sustainability goals and targets
  • Collaborates with internal teams, such as operations, marketing, and HR, to integrate sustainability principles into business practices and processes
  • Identifies and engages with external stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives, such as suppliers, customers, and community
  • Manages sustainability reporting, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to stakeholders and relevant reporting frameworks (e.g., ESRS, Ecovadis, CDP)
  • Coordinates sustainability events and campaigns to promote awareness and engagement among employees and external stakeholders
  • Conducts research and analysis on sustainability
  • Supports the organization and coordination of sustainability audits
  • Collaborates with company functions in developing and implementing strategies to address sustainability risks and opportunities
  • Evaluates and reports on the impact of sustainability initiatives, including assessing progress against goals and targets and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborates with group functions and Legal Entities to ensure the alignment to business goals
  • Manages the interaction with internal and external stakeholders within own area of responsibility

EDUCATION LEVEL

  • Degree in Scientific/Economic fields

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in the role gained in international industries
  • Knowledge of GMP, safety and environment standards; in the event of deviations, the gap is corrected by participation in the internal company training plans envisaged by current legislation and by management systems
  • Fluency in English
