RESPONSABILITIES
We're currently looking for a Business Unit Innovation Project Manager who will be in charge of:
- Defining and implementing the Innovation Plan for the assigned product category, ensuring alignment with business objectives, profitability, and portfolio strategy.
- Managing and optimizing the formula portfolio, monitoring its lifecycle, performance, and consistency with market positioning and pricing guidelines.
- Ensuring scalability and industrial transferability of formulas across different production sites, maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, and speed of execution.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Technical Management, Packaging Innovation, and Operations to support product industrialization, validation, and continuous improvement.
- Leading the development of samples and prototypes to support internal events, strategic presentations, and commercial initiatives.
- Contributing to innovation projects for strategic clients, in collaboration with Strategic Marketing (multinational clients) and Sales (High Potential and Private Label clients).
- Supporting the development of internal capabilities through training activities on product and innovation for the international sales force.
ACTIVITIES
- Support Sales Account Managers on new strategically important projects related to the assigned product category.
- Assist Sales Account Managers in Innovation presentations to clients during in-house corporate events and in local markets.
- Define the Innovation Plan together with Strategic Marketing.
- Contribute to achieving budget revenue targets for the assigned product category, in collaboration with the Business Unit team, with a focus on new technologies identified in the Innovation Plan.
- Identify portfolio products to be used in promotional activities and trend presentations, in line with the Marketing Plan.
- Identify and prioritize key formulas and products within the portfolio for promotional activities and trend presentations.
- Monitor and optimize formula transfer processes between plants, identifying critical issues and opportunities for standardization and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Marketing, Economics, or related fields (a technical/scientific background is a plus).
- Experience in product innovation, portfolio management, or roles interfacing with R&D.
- Knowledge of product development and industrialization processes.
- Experience in cross-functional and international environments.
- Strong strategic mindset combined with execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English proficiency.
